We can't acknowledge everything in this world just because we are afraid of offending somebody. We can't let our morals and values be trampled upon just because we fear society's disapproval.

Many people believe they have good and strong values, and that may be true. However, the problem lies in the meaning of those values if we are afraid to defend and teach them to others.
Most of the time, people are cautious about taking a stand because they fear being targeted, especially on social media.
That is why there is an abundance of obscene, immoral, and indecent posts on social media today. Engaging in such popular posts often leads to an onslaught of criticism.
We can't blame them, It's really hard to tell people that what they are doing is wrong, especially people who are close to us. If we try to tell them that their ideas are harmful to themselves and society, they simply tell us to mind our own business.
Because of the difficulty of this approach, we often end up making enemies instead of effecting change. Direct confrontation is not the right course of action. When people hate you, everything you say loses value in their eyes. You become someone who is perceived as acting superior. So, what is the right action?
Because it is difficult to tell people directly what's wrong with them, the best chance for people fighting for good values is to support each other by making posts about things that are right go viral.
They need to know that what they are doing is wrong, and the only way for them to realize it is if they see many people promoting good values rather than just staying quiet and minding their own business. Let's be proactive in protecting what is right by helping those with a voice be heard.
Today we might think that all this nonsense that society is bringing us is just petty, but when the time comes that it is already on a larger scale and it already affects your family, that is the time that you will look back and tell yourself you should've talked.
It's like a scratch on your skin. If you don't do anything about it, it will get infected. Soon, it can become a big wound. So what are you going to do now? Treat it. Yes, you can cure it, but after that, a big scar will be left.
